I’m setting up a vendor table at the upcoming bEHR Health #BLACKOUT Juneteenth celebration.
People usually wonder why a financial strategist is at a physical wellness event. The answer is simple: wealth is health. You cannot separate an individual or family's physical well-being from their financial environment and stability. My background is in Public Health from Xavier University of Louisiana, and I view economic autonomy as a critical part of a community's overall healthcare system.
Juneteenth is about emancipation and building a legacy. A major piece of that legacy is financial control.
I won't be giving a formal presentation or a seminar at this event. Instead, I’ll be at my table from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM having straightforward, one-on-one conversations with community members.
